Pie Five Pizza is the love child of Chipotle and Papa Johns. Its a build-it as you see it personal pan pizza place. Choose your crust style, then your sauce, cheese, meats & vegetables. Then they bake it for 5 minutes (hence the five in the name). Finally its ready to eat! Pros: Decent pizza made quickly and they have beer! Any style of pizza all under $7, Gluten-free options Cons: My pizza could have been slightly warmer. Staff needs to pay more attention to wiping down tables as people leave. All-in-all decent affordable pizza. We will be back!

Wow, my wife and I just ate there for the first time this afternoon. We are very impressed and will be back. Only one mine complaint. SWMBO was not Obeyed. Ordered the Five Star without Onions and got onions which she promptly passed on to me. All in all, great FAST food which will have us going back again.

What can I say, I may be addicted to unlimited combinations of pizza toppings... Pie Five is now one of our family go-to places, and I highly recommend them. The price is reasonable, the people are fun and helpful, the crust is tasty, an the toppings are as variable and delicious as you choose. The first time I came in, I was struck by how closely it resembled a Chipolte in decor. Perhaps that is by design. The menu is a little high up on the wall to really read it well while you make your way through a walled off line on the right. That really doesn't matter, because when you get to the counter, you can easily see all the ingredients. I'm not interested in eating someone else's pizza creation, so for me the menu is useless. Once you get to the counter, you choose a crust (or salad, because you can put many of the same toppings on a bed of lettuce as well). I personally prefer the pan crust, but I have tried both. It is the same dough, and is tasty either way, however, only the pan can hold all the toppings I want. Every time I have come, I have had different combinations. I started with a fairly generic pepperoni, green peppers, and some veggies and just got crazier every time I came in after that. I'm had all meats, I've had randomly chosen toppings, so far I haven't had a bad pizza! The portion size is sort of up to you and how much you want on the pie, but I typically can eat half, and save half for lunch the next day. As you make your way past the salad section and past the really super yummy looking deserts (I haven't tired them), you get to the checkout at about the time your pie is done cooking. They can add some basil, pesto, parmesan, and pepper, if you want. The price is very reasonable, for the quantity of food. I mean it's really reasonable. The only criticism I have of this place is that I can't eat here every night. I mean you can't just have pizza for every meal, can you? I guess, I would also like to have real silverware, instead of plastic, when eating in. I suppose that saves on washing, and protects the pans from being damaged by metal on metal. But it would be easier to eat the big slices I tend to make for myself. In summary, this place is one of my all time favorites. The variety that you choose for yourself makes it one that can be revisited frequently without ever having the same meal. I highly recommend Pie Five.

My pizza is perfect every time! The crust, sauce, and topping choices are very good, and the five minute bake time is convenient. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and fairly new. The e-club offers some good deals, and you can get a 20% customer survey discount.

A great pie for the money. Please don't mistake this as a four star Italian restaurant. It is pizza in five minutes. It's essentially a lunch counter. But it's a good one. Large selection of toppings and it is made right in front of you. Good crust makes the lunch fun and fast!

This place was introduced to me by a family member. I'm not a big pizza fan, however this place took me by surprise. You can build your own any topping and different types of crust. All the ingredients are really fresh. I am also a big supporter of customer service and they were the friendliest staff I have ran into in a while. That alone will bring me back. The atmosphere was cool hip and young. I would bring my parents to my grandparents. A must try place at least once! Thumbs up Pie Five Pizza Co!

Since my office moved recently, I've driven by this location every day. I've heard a few people say it was good, so wanted to check it out. My wife and I went in at about 1:00pm on Saturday. There were about 8 people in front of us in line, so I was expecting a 15 to 20 minute wait. I figured it would take some time to get all of those pizzas through the oven. However, we were through the line and had our pizzas in about 10 minutes. I wish we had to wait longer... My wife and I both had the Five Star. She subtracted the olives. I subtracted the bell peppers, but added spinach. The taste of the sauce, toppings, and crust was okay. However, they were lukewarm at best. The cheese was barely melted and the crust in the middle would have been doughy if it had been thicker. When we were in line, I noticed the slicer was reaching into the oven to pull out the next pizza instead of letting it reach the finishing tray. I suspect the time of the oven would have been good to fully cook (reheat?) the pizza if he had not prematurely pulled it. I timed one of the subsequent pizza cook times with my phone and from the time it was placed in at one end until the time the slicer took it out was exactly 2 minutes. Granted, the crowd had slowed by that point, so I suspect our pizzas were closer to 1:45 or 1:50 at most. While I realize they probably had just finished the lunch rush, the dining area was filthy. Several empty tables were littered with crust, cheese, and sauce. The floor was likewise littered with waste. We were there for about 30 minutes total and I didn't see any sort of cleaning take place. While the concept is good (fast food pizza made to order), the execution was lacking. I think I'll stick with a traditional chain. I'd rather wait a few more minutes and have a hot pizza and a clean table to eat at.

After several visits here, they usually hit it out of the park. The service is fast and friendly, and even on a lunch rush they keep things moving fairly well. I still wish they developed a carry out plan, but hey...what they offer is working. The staff is always friendly and helpful and rarely do I run into somebody who gives me any issues. There have been a couple mistakes along the way, but nobody's perfect. They gladly correct it and it's never an issue to take up with a manager. With all the toppings they offer, you can just about have any variety of pizza you want. And upon several tastings, I would put it up against more conventional pizza places any day of the week. They also offer a receipt where you can go online and take a survey and get a coupon to use on your next visit. This is a GREAT plus! I recommended several times they get a Coke Freestyle machine in my online surveys and was delighted today when I went there to see they had a Coke Freestyle machine! I am sure I wasn't the only one who asked, but it was great to see they do listen to the feedback of customers and adapt. This has fast become one of my favorite places to eat.

Pie Five has been described as the Chipotle of Pizza. Fresh ingredients, efficient service, and a highly customizable pizza make this eatery stand out among its brethren of both pizzerias and fast food. Orders offer the voice between a pre-designed pizza or a make-your-own recipe. Whether you prefer thick crust or thin crust, the cooks have your choice ready to go. There are sauce selections to your taste. And there are ample selections of toppings; I love that there are three kind of olives (kalamata, green, or black). Alas, my one complaint is that among the plethora of ingredients, there are no anchovies. After your pizza has baked (which takes an extraordinarily short amount of time) add magic dust (a blend of italian spices, parmesan and Romano) and a sprinkling of fresh basil. For those who wish to keep of a pretense of healthy eating, another option is a salad, served in an edible pizza crust bowl. Kids pizzas with a single topping provide an economical option for little diners. (My young twins split a kids pizza with kalamata olives and are very happy toddlers for it!) One may purchase drinks at the cashier, with choice of bottled drinks (Honest Tea, beers, wine, Dasani water) or a fountain soda pop (Coca-Cola products, hooray!). Pie Five is a great choice for a quick meal, either carryout or dine in. Orders are done at location, which provides for a quick line (no telephone or online orders cutting in front of those who are in queue) and a fresh meal. The ambient music is not obnoxious. The restrooms are clean (one stall each) and the tables quite adequate for enjoying a quick meal. I heartily recommend Pie Five for an efficient and delicious pizza meal.

This was our first time trying Pie Five. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. We are gluten free and are always looking for a solid gf crust. You pay $2 more per pizza but given that it is a full sized crust, I'm okay with that. The pizza maker immediately put on a new pair of gloves and unwrapped the gluten free crust. As she put the pizzas in the over, she called "gluten free." I ordered a Margherita with pepperoni, and my partner ordered the Five Star. The person who took out our pizzas used designated GF utensils to both pull it out and to cut it. GF pizzas automatically go in a box even if you are dining in. I asked for a metal pizza pan because they are washed and I'm not sensitive. The crust was really quite good. It had a nice texture without being too dry or too chewy. They have lots of toppings including different sauces and different crusts. The pizzas are priced at only $6.99 and that kind of flat rate pricing is pretty nice. I think they were a little stingy with the basil though. Overall we would go back and it will move into our pizza rotation. Ps, they have great brewed iced tea. The ginger peach is nice to mix into the black. Both are unsweetened and there is a pot of sweetened black.

This place is great! We made it to Pie Five for our first lunch in the Kansas City area and it did not disappoint. The service was fast and the product was exactly what we wanted (build your own)! Who knew there was a Subway-like pizza bar?! Plus, they serve beer and wine.

I went for the first time today. I love the idea of being able to create your own pizza by picking exactly what toppings you want without being charged extra for each one you get. My daughter, who only eats cheese pizza, tried her pizza with marinara on half and alfredo sauce on half and love it. We even got her another one to go home. She also loved the chocolate chip cookie. My husband had a salad, which looked really good. Maybe I'll try one at another visit. I already know what my personal creation will be for my next visit.

This is like the Chipotle of Pizza. Create your own pizza or have them make one off their menu. I'm a big fan of their buffalo chicken pizza and have jalapenos added. I usually don't eat the crust of pizza, but theirs is so good. I asked about and they said they make it fresh daily instead of using frozen dough. Awesome lunch spot and good for families.

Awesome! Super friendly staff and the quality of the food is great, especially for $6! I would recommend this place to anyone any day of the week.

I am so glad Pie Five is just down the street! We eat there often and have never had a bad experience. The service is always friendly and fast. Even when there is a line, they get you through fast without rushing you. I recently realized that you can ask for extra of any topping you want. I love thin crust and they certainly do it right! My son likes thick crust, and loves theirs. We added side salads once, and now can't get pizzas without them. They are fresh, you can add what you want, and the dressings are amazing. AND, the crustt bowls they are served in is yummy! Oh, and don't forget the Magic Dust!

Like the other reviews i read this place does remind me of a Chipotle for pizza. It was very good and the price was reasonable. You walk thru and order the toppings you want on your pizza and then it is ready pretty quick.

  • Richard L.

Pie Five is like chipotle for pizzas. They have several crust versions, a plethora of toppings (and weekly special pizzas), and the pizza is cooked and ready for you right about the time you pay! The oven must be powered by magic. You can also get side salads which, just like your pizza, is made on the spot while you wait with whatever additions you want. Did I mention the magical pizza oven? Be sure to join the circle of crust customer loyalty program because you'll be back.

This is like a Chipotle for pizzas. Choose your crust, choose your toppings, etc. Then the pie cooks in less than 5 min. Five stars for the Alfredo pizza and the pesto Alfredo Pan pizza. I didn't like the third pizza we got though: whole grain thin crust, plain cheese with red sauce. The crust was flavorless and I didn't like the red sauce. The Alfredo pizzas made up for it... LOVE!

Great place for the pizza lover and the picky eater! Order exactly what you want and watch it go through the oven and straight to your plate. Very friendly staff, and reasonably priced

  • Elizabeth N.

I pretty much enjoy any pizza, but Pie Five is an exception. The crust was totally bland, the sauce was alright, the toppings were alright, and the cheese was nasty. I think DiGiorno is better, and I'm not even saying that as a joke.

  • Kam F.

I love the concept of Pie Five! Think Subway or Chipotle but with pizza. You choose from the menu or build your own and it is cooked fresh on less than 5 minutes. If you are in the mood for pizza I would definitely recommend trying Pie Five.

  • Jamie C.

Good pizza for the price. I like a very thin crust on my pizza's and this definitely meets that requirement. I would prefer it a little more crispy but my guess is that with a 5 minute cook time that would be hard to accomplish. The kids enjoyed getting to personalize their own Pizza's and thought it tasted really good. My wife liked hers but actually thought the wing sauce was too mild (and from a lady who has commented on they spiciness of different brands of ketchup that's saying something).

  • Phil S.

We really like this place. Super thin crust pizza exactly how you want it, served up very fast, hot, right out of the oven. Others have said it: its the Chipotle concept for pizza. I personally don;t like the Subway comparison because the quality of the food is much better, closer to Chipotle's. Your kids will love making their own pies. Really good pizza and a great concept. VERY reasonably priced, I think the thin crust personal is $6.50. Gluten free add $2. They also have a thicker pan crust too.

Ok, I was very pleasantly surprised by Pie Five. My wife talked it up, and I'm a pizza snob, but I really enjoyed my first visit here. It was lunch on a weekend and quiet. Staff was fine - not the friendliest, not the rudest. They just got the job done, no problem. My wife had a BBQ Chicken pizza on pan crust, and I had a custom pizza with spicy marinara (surprisingly spicy), ham, bacon, pineapple and black olives on thin crust. The pizzas came out quickly and were both really tasty. The crusts were both good. Price was quite fair @ $7 for the personal pizza (and there is a currently special with a Yelp check in that got us a $5 pizza instead of $7). Would certainly return, no doubt!

A fun experience, pizza in 5 mins. Lots of toppings to chose from. You can chose from their pre selected pizzas that have the toppings, sauces and dough already selected for you. A tasty pizza and perfect size.

Went here for the first time ever yesterday. I had never even heard of this place so I didn't know what to expect. We were in the area, kids wanted pizza, and saw that it had pretty good overall reviews on Yelp so we figured we'd give it a try. It was pretty busy when we came in....or so I thought. We were about 8-10 back in line, but by the time we were ordering, there had be at least 30+ in line behind us. As we waited I noticed the line was moving kinda slow, but still pretty fast for a place that makes the pizza to order right there in front of you. So my first advice is to not go here if it's even a little busy, and you're in a rush at all. I liked the overall variety of options for pizzas, and between the 4 of us, we covered most of them. I had the pan crust, the wife and kids had the thin crust. Overall, the pizza was good. nothing to write home about, but good enough that I'd go back. I just found the crust, and the sauce to be a little on the bland side. I feel like the value is great though. 9.99 for a pizza any way you want it, plus a drink and a salad or desert or 6.99 for a pizza alone is a decent deal. The pizzas are about 8 inches so they are more than enough for one normal person to fill up on. The place itself was a little cramped, so we opted to sit outside. The drinks are in a bad location so you're pretty much in peoples way, when you're getting your drink...especially if there is more than one person trying to get drinks at the same time. TL;DR: Decent personal size pizzas at a good price. Don't go when they're busy, especially if you're in a hurry.

Not impressed. Not worth standing in line for low quality. Placing the ingredients on the box might actually improve the taste. Also, did not really care for the people working there.

The buffalo chicken pizza was so good! My child is a very picky eater and he loved this pizza. Good price too!

Great concept! "Fast food" pizza that tastes like gourmet pizza. Love the chicken carbonara! Great on the thin crust with a little added marinara. I'm addicted. I only give it 4 stars because of the wait time... But it's pizza...being baked....to order....in an oven. So it's worth the wait! I've never had enough room to try the salads or desserts but they look awesome. Even better as leftovers! Well done Pie Five.

I'm saddened to report that I attempted to call in for a pickup and was thwarted. I was in a super big hurry so I called 'em up. They sayz to me ...they sayz "we don't do that, we want you to come into our establishment and place your order, It takes like two and half minutes". So I stood there behind 4 other people who were taking their sweet arse time... and waited for everyone's pizza orders to be taken... and waited for them to cook and waited for them to be sliced and boxed and waited for them to pay... Super big hurry no more. I may as well dined in at this point. Dudes -- pick up orders -- look into it.

Meh. I wanted a 3.5 but definitely not a 4 so they get what they get. The location was new for me and looked busy but no trouble parking. I liked the look and feel. The outdoor patio was awesome. The people were friendly. Overall the concept was good but nothing really overly WOW'd me which is what I was expecting from what I've heard of this place. It doesn't matter though - it all comes down to the food! I LOVE pizza. It's my favorite food. I seriously could eat it everyday. I'm not a snob and like all pizza. I liked this pizza. It was good. But again - nothing overly special. I liked that you can make your own pizza with all your own toppings. The "Chipotle" model is great and effective. The pizza smelled amazing. It looked amazing. But it just tasted OK. It was no SPIN! pizza flavor. I wanted the tastes to be very unique, artisan, and make my mouth water! But it didn't happen. The cashier asked what I ordered and I'm like "What do you mean?" I ordered a pizza with a bunch of toppings. Then asked the crust which I didn't even know there was options for. No big deal but I feel they if I ordered from you then you should already know what I ordered. Maybe some more internal communication would be a good thing. Don't get me wrong. It was good. It was fast. It was nice. It was no Chipotle experience though. If it were close I would probably eat there occasionally but I think I'll keep going for the better tasting pizza joints.

Another nice lunch option near my new office. I had the bundle, which includes a pizza, salad and drink. The salad comes in a bowl made of the pizza crust, which is entirely unnecessary. First, because you probably have enough food anyway. Second, because it's too hard to break into pieces easily, which makes me suspicious that it would be difficult to eat. I ordered the Five Star with no onions and with jalapenos. Nice, because you could customize any of the standard pizzas or make up your own. I also didn't realize until after I sat down that the salad I ordered as part of my bundle wasn't technically included on the list of choices for the bundle. So I'm pretty sure they are very flexible with giving you what you want. I don't know that this is someplace I would go for dinner, but for a quick lunch, I was very happy.

Love it! I had gotten the Alfredo chicken, thinking it would taste a bit off on a pizza but it came out delicious. I forgot the name of the item but at the end when they ask if you'd like some of the green stuff, say yes! It's a sauce with oil as the base but it is absolutely delightful and makes everything more awesome.

What a huge disappointment! Our Cesar salads were drowning in dressing and our pizzas - farmers market and high five, were both borderline gross. Was a cluster getting through the line and it was not that busy. 5 young men working and they did not have it together. You won't find me here again!

I was excited when a new pizza place opened near my house. The concept is exactly like Chipotle but with pizza toppings! You can pick something from the menu or pick your own toppings. I am not super creative so I been ordering off the menu. I usually give the store benefit of the doubt. Therefore I always visit the place 2 to 3 times before writing the review. My first visit was months ago right after the store opening. The placd hired of bunch of teenagers that the operation really is not all together. My husband ordered the special bbq pork pizza and I ordered the five star. The shift supervisor was super stingy on jack stack bbq pork topping. Overall the flavors are good but pie was on the soft side. My five star just tasted like a normal cheap pizza microwavable. Not impressed at all My second week is a few weeks ago. I ordered the pesto chicken Alfredo. This time is much better. The toppings are great but the crust is still on the soft side. Overall review: ummm it is just okay pizza, the crust is on the soft side but options for toppings. However, I love the concept and it is something you should experience!

I had Pie Five for the first time today and I was happy with the thin crust cheese pizza that my younger sister got. The rest of my family got pan crust and they all could have been cooked longer. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken as well as the pineapple, ham, peppers & onions for toppings...we just couldn't finish them because it got cold too quickly & I was a little worried of food poisoning so we took boxes home to warm it up as well as finish cooking the pan crust pizzas.

Both my husband and I love this place. The only improvement we recommend is to add vegan meats as an option. They are healthier and actually less costly than beef. This has been done successfully at Waldo Pizza in Westport.

I'm addicted. I can't help it, I know it's a chain! It's 5 minutes away from my house and this could be deadly for me. So be it! I will die in bliss! Pizzas are made to order, with the crust you prefer, sauce you prefer and toppings. Made in 2 minutes and its my own pizza. (Personal pizzas) Salads, and desserts are a must try as well.

We had a great first experience at Pie Five and will definitely be back! We ordered off the menu instead of building our own pies, but we will try that next time. Pies are a flat $6.99 for off the menu or build your own, regardless of the toppings (gluten free crust is $2 extra). They also have bundles including a drink and side salad or dessert for $9.99. The chocolate chip cookie pie and turtle pie are both delicious!

I have to say that I was not impressed with the pizza nor the dining experience here. We went on a Saturday evening and the line was almost out the door which seemed like a good sign. Once we were inside, the place looked like a zoo. The dining room was a mess, lots of trash on the floor, tables needing cleaned, and kids running around like it was a play ground. At that point we almost turned around and left. The line moved along fairly quickly and we had to strain our necks to read the huge menu on the wall. I agree with others that this is a poor design. Grab a printed menu if you can find one. I think the appealing thing here is that you can create your own pizza with unlimited topping and it's fairly cheap. They do have gluten free and whole wheat crust options in addition to thin and pan crust. They also have salads in a pizza crust bowl. You go down the line and choose your crust, sauce, and toppings. I felt they were stingy with the amount of toppings, they seriously put 5 peppers on my pizza. I think it's because they're used to people choosing a lot of toppings. If you only want a few types then ask for extra. I did not like my thin crust pizza at all, the crust was so flimsy that it drooped straight down and the toppings fell off, maybe too much sauce...the tuscan marinara sauce was strong on spice, not hot, but seemed like too much oregano. My husband had the Jack Stack special with pan crust and pulled pork. I liked the pan crust better than my thin crust. His pizza was pretty good. I think this place is affordable and good for families with kids who want to choose their own toppings. I gave it 3 stars because I can see this as a good option for some, just not me. I do not recommend this for a date night or even a peaceful evening out, the food quality is not impressive and depending on when you go, you may feel like you're eating your pizza inside a McDonald's play-land with a terrible late 80s sound track loudly pulsing in the background.

Wow I suck. My boyfriend and I were hear nearly 3 weeks ago and I'm only now getting to the review. However, we did go back a 2nd time since our first visit with a couple of our friends to introduce them to Pie Five. We ended up her on a Sunday evening after running errands; luckily we were lucky in our timing - we caught a lull in the dinner rush and were able to order and find a table (it's a somewhat small setting). Since it was our first time (and the menu was kind of difficult to figure out with a line behind us) we decided to order the specials - five star and the buffalo chicken. Both of us agreed that the five star tasted much better than the buffalo chicken. We both felt that the buffalo chicken pizza had far too much cheese and was quite greasy. Granted that could be attributed to the fact that we eat paleo 80% of the time so our taste buds have moved away from liking heavy grease, salt, etc. Overall a fun experience - especially for a 'Chipotle' for pizza concept. I do agree that the place can look like a zoo; but that's to be expected of an environment meant for casual, pizza, and fun.

Interesting place. The set up is just like PepperJax grill, Chipotle, or a dozen sandwich shops, but with pizza! I can appreciate the build your own pizza with whatever crust (thin, thick, wheat or gluten free), sauces, cheeses and toppings you desire. You just go down the assembly line and the friendly staff (all wearing funny t-shirts with the word PIE in them "pie-lingual" was my favorite!) build your pie and then place it in the oven. It'll be ready to eat by the time you check out. I tried the Buffalo Chicken off the menu, and my husband built his own from scratch. The flavor was quite nice and the ingredients were fresh. Somehow neither of us were terribly impressed in the "can't wait to come back" way. Pizza is a tough one to get just right and everyone loves their favorite style for deeply personal reasons. My husband wanted his crust to be "the puffy kind that crisps up" and mine though good, was lacking something i couldn't put my finger on. I do like a more garlicky tomato sauce, that might have been part of my problem. The buffalo sauce wasn't spicy enough. Next time I will definitely do marina. Here's what I did love: the chocolate turtle brownie pizza. A about a buck and half it was a steal. Oh-so-chocolatey, moist and loaded with pecans, mini chocolate chips and caramel drizzle. So while I'm not thinking we'll rush back for the pizza, I have a feeling it won't be long before we'll be back for a dessert-date! Worth a try - might just be YOUR favorite new pizza place. Place was crowded so they are pleasing a large segment of the population! Very kid friendly.

If you are hungry for pizza and to impatient to wait the normal 30 minutes, then this is the place for you! Hubby and I stopped in for a quick bite after golf and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Our individual pizzas were ready in what seemed like 2 -3 minutes and they were good. Because you can add however many toppings you would like all for the same price, it's possible that you could split your pizza with someone and still have plenty to eat. I did not have the chance to try their salads, but I'm sure we will be back for another visit. I would suggest that they get some type of window treatment for their front windows if they really want to be a 5 star - during certain times of the day, it's next to impossible to see or be comfortable in the intense sun that shines in.

Love at first bite! This is the Chipotle of pizza and it's even cheaper!! My better half and I have very different taste when it comes to pizza and this place allows us to each have our own. I'm a big fan of the thin crust margarita pizza and he loves all the meat options. Oh and if you have a sweet tooth, grab a brownie pie and you won't be disappointed. Even when it's busy the line moves fast and the pizza won't leave you feeling ill like fast food. Our new favorite pre-movie food.

Yummy! The Chipotle of pizza places! Magic dust? Yes please! Wheat crust? Yes please! I ordered a kids meal the first time, and it was great. Was a small pizza and side salad. The 2nd & 3rd times used a $5 pie coupon and liked that more. It's really busy around lunch time.

I started hearing of this place a couple weeks ago, so I decided to check them out. I got to say, it's a pretty nice place. You get to build your own personal pizza with as many toppings as you want, and it's all for around $7. The wait time for your food is nice too, about 5 minutes The best way to describe it for me would be Chipotle with pizza. I'll definitely be going here again, totally worth it

Consistently great. Been here 3 times in last 2 weeks. Tried a different pizza each time, and each one was better than the last. The salads are also very good. Would recommend to everyone.

Very interesting concept. Think of it as Chipotle for pizza. For $6.79 you can get a pizza with as little or as much as you want on it. While it isn't the best pizza I've ever had, for under 7 bucks, you can't beat the price. Only complaint is the location of the large menu board. There needs to be another menu board behind the staff. You'll have to keep turning to your right for the ingredients.

I tried this place for the first time tonight. The food reminds me of Spin pizza. They have a thin crust and a thick crust. I got a thin and enjoyed it. My daughter got a thick crust and it was good too. We all got side salads served in a pizza-crust bowl. They were quite good, but a bit small. They have tons of cool ingredients and you can make your own pizza or choose from one of their masterpieces. They do serve beer and wine. The staff was very friendly and seemed to really be enjoying their job. I was a little annoyed at how they put the HUGE menu sign on the wall, but the way they route the line you are so close you can't read it. Pretty big miss in laying out the store.

Love this place! Especially the Jack Stack pizza!! It's like Subway for Pizza lovers. Food is hot, ingredients are fresh and definitely sign up for the Circle of Crust (rewards). So easy to get a free pizza. So glad Pie Five has come to the KC area!

I've been meaning to try this place, and finally did tonight. I think it's great that they have found a way to make a pizza place new, fresh, and different. First, it's inexpensive! Less than $10 for a pizza, salad and drink. And no extra charge no matter how many toppings! Also, fresh, really good ingredients and plenty of choices in crust, sauces, meats and toppings. Fast cooking and a really friendly staff. Also, build your own salad in an edible bowl and it was as good as the pizza. Yes, as other reviewers said, it might help to have the menu right behind the assembly line, but on the other hand it was great to actually look down at the bins of ingredients and choose that way. We met one of the owners who came over and was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Fast friendly service! Lots of choices on crust, sauce and toppings. Everything is made fresh in front of you. Salads are served in a cute little bread bowl. Great if you are in a hurry.....or not!

Having your own personal pizza with as many toppings as you wants...is like a pizza lovers dream. So good, and so fast! I can't wait to try the salads that looks so delicious and try a slice (or the whole damn things) of one of those desserts!
